The village, with its 790 inhabitants, is situatec 33 kilometers south to Komárom, on the plain along the river Danube, on its left bank. The village is mainly of agricultural charakter, but owning to the Danube Bend, nice sands and its location it can develop into one of significant tourist centres of the Komárom district.
